Business Development Manager -   German desk

Location: Dublin West

Salary: €40K+ p/a (+ bonus + relocation package)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a German speaking Business Development Manager. Our client is looking for individuals who are target driven, ambitious and who are ready to take on the challenge.

You will have a proven track record in a client-facing Sales / BD role and will be comfortable working to targets. This is an office-based position, involving regular travels to DACH Region (when it is safe to do so).  The successful candidate should have previous experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and call prospective clients
  • Arrange and attend business meetings with prospective clients in person, over the phone or webcam
  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within DACH Region
  • Develop growth strategies and plans
  • Document and report sales activities in a CRM tool
  • Liaise with the sales, engineering, and marketing departments as appropriate
  • Identify new methods and opportunities for sales campaigns
  • Achieve your targets
  • Seek ways of improving the way the business operates

Requirements:   

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager / sales executive or similar
  • Proven track record in business-to-business sales
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluent German and English
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Highly driven and self-motivated
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Third level degree
  • Availability to travel to DACH Region when required
