We are seeking a friendly and highly motivated Field Service Engineer to join our client in the Netherlands. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, conducting repairs, and providing exceptional customer service at various customer locations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer locations to install, inspect, and repair company products
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on equipment according to manufacturers' specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, using the latest diagnostic tools and equipment
- Collaborate with the engineering department to resolve complex problems and provide innovative solutions
- Provide timely and accurate reports of service activities, including detailed documentation of findings, repairs, and replacements
- Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of the products
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment issues
- Fluent in Dutch and in English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuitry, and schematics
- Familiarity with a variety of diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations (within The Netherlands).
This is a 9 months fixed term contract.
