Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Radiographers to join leading healthcare providers in Ireland (Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford). As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images are captured in line with clinical requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, etc.) as required by clinicians.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
  • Provide high-quality images for clinical analysis, ensuring images meet the required standards.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety and quality protocols.
  • Work closely with doctors and medical staff to assess patient needs and provide effective imaging solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results.
  • Follow strict health and safety regulations to ensure the safe operation of equipment.
  • Adhere to departmental protocols and assist with the maintenance and calibration of equipment.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients and their families, answering questions and addressing concerns where appropriate.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualification: A recognized qualification in Radiography (e.g., BSc in Radiography).
  • Registration: Current registration with the Radiographers Registration Board (CORU) or eligibility to register.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but newly qualified radiographers are also encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and understanding of imaging techniques (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to deliver precise imaging results with a focus on patient care.
  • Patient-Focused: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, ensuring comfort and confidence during procedures.
  • Team Player: Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, depending on departmental needs.
