Job Description

Role: Technical Support Analyst - German desk

Location: Mechelen, BE

Salary: DOE (Attractive / competitive) + benefits

Relocation: Yes (applies to the candidates relocating to Mechelen from outside of Belgium)

Work permit: available to Non EU applicants

Main tasks (not limited to):

  • Working with internal and external customers to identify technical problems and advising on the solution
  • Testing, diagnosing and repairing faulty hardware supplied by the organisation
  • Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
  • Logging and keeping records of all the queries
  • Analysing call logs to spot common issues
  • Quality checks and test software and hardware solutions

Requirements:

  • Min 1 year Technical support experience (any sector)
  • Fluent level of German and English (any other language is a big advantage)  
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends
  • Ability to deal with difficult callers
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of the team
  • Strong communications skills
